During his 20 years of service with the Japan Coast Guard, he has responded to a wide variety of violent incidents on the front lines. As an instructor of suppression techniques and weapons, he worked to improve the practical skills of Coast Guard officers in the field.
While in the Coast Guard, he met Krav Maga Japan Chief Instructor Kokushi Matsumoto and studied under him.
Currently, as the lead instructor of Krav Maga Japan, he is making efforts to promote Krav Maga.
